Bertie Auld Birmingham City FC Memorabilia
Bertie Auld joined Birmingham City in 1961 for £15,000 from Celtic. With the Blues he won a League Cup
medal in 1963, as well as appearing in the final of the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup in 1960–61, in which Birmingham were
beaten 4–2 on
aggregate by A.S. Roma.
In 1965 he returned to Celtic, in 1967 he played in the
famous Celtic team nicknamed the "Lisbon Lions" team,
who were the first British club to win the
European Cup.

have a signed 10in x 7in photo of the Birmingham City squad that won the League Cup in 1963.
The final was played over two
legs at the local rivals home grounds, in the first leg at St Andrews Birmingham City won 3-1.
In the second leg at Villa Park the
game finished 0-0 meaning the Blues won the trophy at their greatest rivals ground.
The photo has been signed by Birmingham City legends Bertie Auld,
Gil Merrick and Terry Hennessey during private signing sessions held by Midlands Memorabilia and the Birmingham City
Former Players Association.
